Last Friday, the Bloomingdale football team played against Newsomes football team. The tough fight ended with a final score of 35-17, favoring Newsome.
The first points made by Bloomingdale began in the 2nd quarter with a touchdown and continued on during the third quarter adding another touchdown and field goal to the score.
It was a close game and Bloomingdale almost took the lead in the fourth quarter when Newsome stole the ball and managed to score 14 more points.
“It’s kinda depressing if you think about it,” says Kara Licouse. “I mean we havent even won one game this season.
“With only a few games left in the season, Bloomingdale doesnt have much more time to pull their act together,” says Haley Broussard
Commenting on the halftime show, Katie Brown said,”The Newsome students were very rude. They booed us during our performance and we couldnt even hear their performance because their “fans” kept talking.”
