Veteran`s Day

“Wednesday November 11, 2009a day to be remembered. This day is very special to me mainly because my father is still away serving our country and it makes be proud when I remember what he is fighting for.” says a freshman Deanna Jo Meere.

Just skipping school is not the only real student are getting excited for this holiday. Veterans`s Day is a day to remember our father, mothers, sisters, brother, neighbors and friends, everyone who is a veteran or even those still serving our country.

While serving his country Megan Smiths Grandfather found true love.

“I always love to hear the story of how my grandparents met and how they fell in love  while my grandfather was serving over seas in Japan it truly makes me appreciate veterans because Iwouldn’t be here right now, though it is very sad that they have to fight I will always support the troops and honor Veterans Day!” says sophomore Megan Smith.
