Minotaur wins 6 Gold Circle Awards:

The 2009 edition of the Minotaur received six Gold Circle Awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. These awards are given to the top books in the country for specific categories. This is the first time Bloomingdale has received one. Only three other yearbooks in Florida earned a Gold Circle award.

At the 2008 Spring SIPA Convention, a team of four editors, Sarah Gold, Amy Gold, Erika Firestine and Brittany Harris, won Best Design at the yearbook WED contest.
