The Media Center was as busy as a beehive the first week of school, and it wasn’t because of the end of the semester, or even the dreaded SAT Testing period being on the rise. According to the Media Center staff, the schedule changes this year weren’t nearly as bad as they could have been, thanks to the new Assistant Principal for Curriculum, Mr. Joseph Castelli and the guidance department’s orderly and prompt routine to adjust the problems.
“Actually, there were very few [schedule changes] this year,” said Media Center specialist Ms. Nancy Harris. “I was very impressed with Mr. Castelli.”
According to Mr. Castelli, schedule changes went smoothly because of the very organized guidance center. When asked how he thought he did on the schedule changes, his response was to the point.
“Well, I think the guidance department did an excellent job,” said Mr. Castelli.
By the end of the week, every student was in the correct class, thanks to the help of the guidance staff, Mr. Castelli and the Media Center.
